On November 21, reality TV star Kim Kardashian shared an update about her law school journey on Instagram. The 44-year-old posted a photo wearing reading glasses to announce that she was beginning her seventh year of law school.
Kardashian started her legal career in 2018 through a four-year apprenticeship with a San Francisco law firm. Although she is not yet fully licensed, she has already made significant contributions to the legal field, including helping secure a pardon for Alice Marie Johnson, who was serving a life sentence for a nonviolent crime.
Fans took to X to react to Kardashian’s Instagram post about her legal studies. Some of the comments on X included: “Forgive me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t law school take only 3 years?” a user interrogated.
“Kim pulling up to class in year 7 of a 3 year course,” another fan wrote.
“7th year? What’s her IQ? 60?” one user commented.
One fan wrote: “Hahahah she gonna be 60 by the time she finish that shit. Surprised she hasn’t just paid for a fake degree yet tbh lol”
Another user claimed: “To everyone saying ‘she’s doing it on her spare time’ if you were as rich as her you wouldn’t have mad spare time? Lmao people are acting like she clocks in every morning and every night at a job where she doesn’t know she might be asked to do OT, and struggle to find a sitter.”
“Kim Kardashian???? Is a lawyer????? When?? How!!!” another quipped.
Fans continued to emphasize that Kardashian was taking seven years to complete a three-year course.
“7 years to get thru a 3 year school, would you hire a lawyer that took it one class at a time without even having to work?” a user wrote on X.
“Entering university after 30 is not for the weak,” argued another.
