Snoop Dogg Becomes a Grandfather Again as Daughter Cori Broadus Gives Birth at 6 Months Pregnant
Snoop Dogg is officially a grandfather again, though this time, the arrival of his granddaughter came earlier than expected. His daughter, Cori Broadus, 25, gave birth to a baby girl at just six months of pregnancy, a surprising and emotional moment for the family. Fortunately, the newborn is doing well.
On February 28, Cori took to Instagram to announce the birth of her daughter, sharing a heartfelt post with her followers. “The princess arrived at 6 months 🥹👶🏽🎀,” Cori wrote. “I’ve cried and cried, I’ve compared and compared, blaming myself that I wasn’t able to give her all that she needed. But no matter what, God always shows me that I’m His Child!”
Cori continued to express her gratitude for her daughter’s health, saying, “Baby girl came at 25 weeks today and she’s perfect as ever! Thank You God for getting me this far no matter the odds that are constantly thrown against me.”
This new addition brings Snoop Dogg’s total number of grandchildren to eight, or “granddoggs” as he affectionately refers to them. Cori’s journey to motherhood has been particularly challenging. In January 2024, she revealed that she had suffered a severe stroke, which left her feeling overwhelmed and scared. “I’m hurting. I’m scared. Why is this happening to me?” she recalled after learning about the stroke.
Cori, who performs under the name Choc, is also an entrepreneur, co-owning a beauty company, Choc Factory, with her fiancé Wayne Deuce. Just a few days before the birth, Cori shared a post on Instagram showing off her baby bump in a turquoise bikini and a green Dodger cap, captioning it, “Stepping for two🫡💚.”
Snoop Dogg’s family continues to grow, with Cori joining his three sons. His son Corde has four children, though tragically, his son Kai passed away as an infant. Meanwhile, Snoop’s son Cordell has three children of his own.
