Sean “Diddy” Combs, the founder of Bad Boy Records, is facing serious legal challenges, including charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and drug possession. Following his arrest in September 2024, he pleaded not guilty to three felony counts and has been denied bail, with prosecutors citing a history of intimidation against witnesses and accusers.
The indictment alleges that Combs orchestrated “Freak Offs,” elaborate drug-fueled sexual performances, and subjected women to physical and emotional abuse. Prosecutors claim that around 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant were seized during raids on his properties. The charges could carry significant prison time, with maximum sentences ranging from 10 years to life.
Combs’ defense team has described the prosecution as unjust, asserting that he is innocent and has cooperated fully with authorities. Despite a history of accusations, including a settlement with ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura over similar claims, Combs maintains that he has never sexually assaulted anyone.
The ongoing investigation has led to multiple lawsuits from women alleging sexual misconduct and abuse spanning decades. As Combs remains in custody awaiting trial, more victims are expected to come forward, and the legal proceedings are poised to unfold in the coming months.
