February 19, 2024 by Pham Hien

Dogs are best friends, and the four dogs in this heartwarming story below will definitely prove that to be true. Even if you’re not an animal lover, this story can make you shed tears.

At around 3 a.m. on Sunday, a homeless man named César was admitted to a hospital in Brazil to receive treatment for his health problem. While Cris Mamprim and other staff members were caring for him, they noticed that their new patient did not come alone. His four stray dogs kept watch at the door and refused to leave until they saw their friend was fine.

The nurse noticed that the dogs were better fed than most of the stray dogs she had seen. They are all well taken care of and chubby. César often looks after the dogs by scavenging for food or forgoing food for himself to ensure the dogs stay well-fed. Despite his lack of material things, you can see how selfless César is for taking care of stray dogs.

Before César was ready to leave, the staff decided to give him a meal and invite his dogs inside so that they too could share in the meal. Also, they offered some food to César.

After about an hour of treatment, César was safely discharged. He left the hospital with adorable dogs wagging their tails in tow. Please share this heart-warming story with your friends and family members!
