Unlikely Hero: Elephant Saves Villagers from Lion Attacks

October 12, 2023 by Pham Hien

The driver had an ironic situation when he was blocked by a herd of lions and a giant elephant in Kruger National Park, South Africa.

Cars pass giraffes and monkeys in Kruger National Park without a hitch.

But trouble arose when the driver faced a herd of lions lying on the road blocking the path. The scene was recorded by a female tourist in the car in front.

The situation became more complicated when a  giant elephant stopped right behind the car  , making it unable to move forward or backward.

Thanks to the giant elephant walking away, the car was able to reverse to escape the lions surrounding it

Previously, in Kruger National Park, a family of lions pulled together in the middle of the crosswalk to sleep and play, causing the whole road to be congested with traffic

A family while driving around a wildlife park in South Africa also once had a heart attack when a lion chased them open the car door with their teeth and face to face
