Meghan Markle has intentionally held back on releasing her own revealing memoir, unlike her spouse Prince Harry, and an insider has shed light on the reasoning behind this choice.
After Harry’s explosive memoir Spare hit the shelves in January 2023, making a number of shocking allegations against Royal family members such as Prince William, Princess Kate, King Charles, and Queen Camilla, there was chatter that Meghan might do the same.
However, rather than penning a book, Meghan has concentrated her efforts on launching her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard. A source suggests that Meghan could be biding her time for the ideal moment to release her own tell-all book, which could potentially net her “tens of millions” of dollars.

An insider spilled the beans to Closer Online: “The word in publishing circles is that everyone’s mad to land Meghan’s memoirs and the numbers being thrown around are ridiculously high.
“We’re talking tens of millions for her authorised biography – it’s going to get to the point where she can’t say no.”
The source further noted that Meghan’s unique viewpoint on the Windsor family would make her biography incredibly valuable, stating: “And love her or hate her, there’s no denying that she has an insight into the royals that no one else can share.”
An insider has revealed that Meghan has decided to postpone the release of her memoir in an effort to keep the peace, but she is determined to share her truth and it’s only a matter of time before she does.

Harry’s relationship with the Royal family, particularly his brother William, took a nosedive after he levelled some serious accusations against certain family members in Spare.
This week, Harry was spotted in the UK, beaming at an awards ceremony for the charity WellChild, although it’s believed he didn’t cross paths with any other royals.
Meghan hasn’t been seen on UK soil for over two years since she and Harry were in the country when Queen Elizabeth II passed away in September 2022.
