Kim Jong Kook of Running Man is getting married, with Soompi reporting on Monday that the wedding will be an intimate affair in Seoul attended only by close friends and family.
Soompi quoted a source from Jong Kook’s agency, Turbo.JK Company, which said the event “is even more meaningful to make this new start in the significant year of its 30th debut anniversary.”
The Korean entertainment outlet also released a transcription of Kim Jong Kook’s handwritten letter, where the singer confessed he felt “even more nervous than I could have ever imagined” while writing it.
“I’m getting married,” he wrote, explaining that although he had “tried to drop small hints here and there,” many fans may still find the news sudden.
Marking his 30th debut anniversary, Jong Kook added with a touch of humor and sincerity: “Instead of making the album I wanted, I made my ‘other half’ instead. Still, please congratulate and support me.
